How to apply Plasma Metal Mono
1. Preparation of the Support: The support must be perfectly smooth, clean and dry in order to ensure optimal adhesion.
2. Component mixture: Incorporate the Plasma Metal Mono powder into a ratio of 1:1.5 by weight and homogenize with a mechanical mixer.
3. Consistency adjustment: Add 10% water to obtain a homogeneous and fluid texture suitable for application.
4. Application: Apply one or more layers according to the desired effect, using a taloche, a brush or a roller depending on the desired finish.
5. Drying and finishing: Allow to dry between 24 and 48 hours before sanding and polishing to reveal the entire radiance of the metal.
Protection and maintenance of Plasma 3D Metal Mono
To ensure longevity and avoid metal oxidation, it is essential to apply a suitable protection to the use you will make of the surface treated with the Plasma Metal Mono.
“Mantra Spray Protect” wax: An ideal finish to maintain gloss while protecting against natural oxidation. This protection is generally used as protection on walls.
Bi-Composant Satin varnish: Recommended for moisture-exposed areas, such as bathrooms and kitchens, to avoid oxidation and ensure optimal durability.
What are the packaging of Plasma Metal Mono?
Plasma 3D Metal (Mono-component): The Plasma mono (base) metal is available in 1 kg pots, covering a surface area of 7M2.
The Mono metal plasma shall be mixed with metal powder in the following proportions: 1KG of single-component resin for 750Gr of metal.
