Bi Plasma Metal

Bi Plasma Metal

Bi-etal, an innovation signed Loggia, is a two-component decorative resin mixed with genuine recycled metal powders from industry. This technology makes it possible to transform any medium – furniture, doors, walls, or furnishings – into a surface with a glossy metal appearance, offering a unique and refined rendering. Available in several metal, bronze, copper, brass, zinc and tin finishes, Bi-Plasma Metal is the ideal solution for high-end interior decoration projects.

What are the Benefits of Bi-Plasma Metal?

Metal authenticity: Thanks to the true recycled metal powder, each project benefits from a natural and authentic finish.

Versatility: Suitable for a wide range of applications, from walls to floors, furniture and decorative objects.

High-Range Gloss and Finish: Careful polishing makes it possible to obtain a smooth and luminous surface with infinite metallic shades.

Resistance and flexibility: This coating was awarded an ADI Award in 2023 for its exclusive formulation giving it extreme flexibility and great strength.

How to apply Bi-Plasma Metal

  • Preparation of the Support: Make sure the surface is smooth, clean and dry before application.
  • Component mixture: Mix Bi-Plasma Metal Base with metal powder at a ratio of 1:1.5 by weight. Homogenizing with a mechanical mixer.
  • Addition of the hardener: Gradually add the hardener part while continuing to mix, then incorporate 10% water to obtain a fluid and homogeneous texture.
  • Application: Apply 1 to 2 layers according to the desired effect, using a taloche or roller to create various textures.
  • Drying: Allow to dry between 24 and 48 hours, then sanding and polishing to reveal the metallic radiance.

Protection and maintenance of BiPlasma Metal

In order to ensure the longevity and protection of the metal surface, it is essential to apply appropriate protection:

“Mantra Spray Protect” wax: An ideal finish to maintain gloss while protecting against natural oxidation.

Bi-Composant Satin varnish: Recommended for moisture-exposed areas, such as bathrooms and kitchens, to avoid oxidation and ensure optimal durability.
