Kymera

Kymera, oxidized rust-effect decorative paint, copper and turquoise oxidation.

Kymera is a family of paints with oxidized effects that make it possible to give an industrial look to your walls. Kymera oxidation effects are available in rust effects, green oxidations and turquoise oxidations.

These paints apply either to a tinted primer or to an Infinito textured coating and should be oxidized by an activator.

How to apply Kymera

Once your wall has been prepared either with the primer or as a structure made using our Infinito coating, you can apply your oxidized effect paint.

Step 1: Apply 2 layers of Kymera with a brush and allow to dry for 24 hours.

Step 2: Using the activator spray, oxidize the paint by applying the liquid to the places you only want to oxidize.

Step 3: Apply a fixing protective layer (Kymera trasp) to stop oxidation and protect your rusted/oxidized decorative effect.

How to protect the Kymera?

The activation of Kymera is carried out using an activating spray. Depending on the type of Kymera used (Verderame, Turquesa or Ruggin), it is important to choose the appropriate activator. Activation is carried out gradually: the activator should be added stepwise until the desired effect is obtained.

Once the desired oxidation effect has been achieved, apply a protective layer of Kymera Trasp to bind it sustainably and prevent further progression of oxidation.

What are the packs of Kymera?

Kymera exists in 3 types of oxidation:

  • Rust with red/ang-sanctions
  • Verderam with green effects
  • Turkish that is bluish turquoise oxidation

Kymera is available in 1L and 2.5L pots.

The activators are available in a 0.5L or 1L spray.
